SERVICES
Living with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or other neurodivergent conditions, can bring both strengths and challenges.
Many neurodivergent adults come to counselling because they feel misunderstood, exhausted from masking, or overwhelmed by everyday demands. Others seek support after a late diagnosis, or simply want to explore how neurodivergence affects their emotions, identity, relationships or work life.
You may recognise:
If any of this resonates, or for any other experience you may have with neurodiversity, counselling can offer a calm and accepting space to understand yourself more fully, and to explore your interactions with everything and everyone around you.

Neurodivergence shapes how you navigate the world, and this can influence many aspects of everyday living.
At times this can feel isolating, confusing and exhausting, especially if you’ve spent years trying to adapt to environments and situations that don’t suit you, or don’t accommodate your needs.
ABOUT ME
As a person-centred counsellor, with wide knowledge of autism and ADHD, I offer a calm and welcoming space where your experience of neurodiversity can be fully shared and respected. My approach is neuro-affirming and inclusive, with a sincere commitment to honouring who you are – not trying to change it. I provide space to explore your condition, and any challenges it may bring, with acceptance, patience and support.
My background in education, particularly as a special needs coordinator, has given me deep insight into neurodiversity, and is backed by accredited training. I understand the weight of social expectations, the challenges of self-regulation, and both the emotional and sensory impact of a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming or unsupportive.
What sessions are like
I primarily work with people at my home in Northaw, close to Potters Bar, Enfield and Barnet. I often find that being in the same room together helps build a natural rapport. However, I appreciate that time and distance will not always allow this, so I am also happy to conduct online video sessions or a combination of both – whatever you find most comfortable.
Whichever you choose, there is no pressure to maintain eye contact, and you are welcome to stim, fidget, pause or take breaks. I aim to create a calm, relaxed environment that respects any sensory and emotional needs you may have.
Fundamentally, autism and ADHD are not something to ‘fix,’ they are to be heard and acknowledged. In our sessions, nothing is too much, too little, or too difficult to talk about.
Many neurodivergent adults find that therapy sessions help them:
Therapy sessions provide a welcoming and accepting space, where your experiences, feelings and challenges can be openly expressed and explored, enabling you to identify triggers and develop helpful new ways to respond or to cope.
